ozron said 2/5 at 10:07am There's a reasonable review here on the previous version of CADintosh, which provides a good overview: http://www.mac-guild.org/reviews/review314.html |
t5tr said 2/5 at 1:42am Being able to import autocad 14 DXF files on the Mac, and with the workspace resembling the pretty classic OS 9 interface, this CAD app keep me from asking for anything else to use, and not to mention I was using only the demo/trial version. Summing up, a great CAD option on Mac with a *responsive* interface and at a bargain price, making today's promo a very advantageous purchase. |
ozron said 2/5 at 9:59am I can second their Graphic Convertor as an excellent app, and this also looks very good. Very professional developer. At that price it's a bargain! |
greenmonster said 2/5 at 7:11am What's all this talk about dead pixie's... I thought pixie's were immortal, like fairies and elvis. |
heckler0077 said 2/5 at 11:59pm Not really into CAD programs, as I don;t need them, but judos the mupromo people for keeping a steady flow of good apps coming. |
t5tr said 2/5 at 11:27pm 23 hours have gone and the "Trial Download" above link still needs to be corrected to "cad601ub.dmg", the new CADintosh 6.0.1 release. ;~(. |
tomjac said 2/5 at 11:23pm I've been unable to try this version due to the 404 error, but past versions have been a bit tough for me to master. Seems to be feature rich but not easy to master, which is perhaps typical of CAD software. |
About MUPromo MacUpdate Promo provides a deal a day on Macintosh software; often 40% off. Most deals are offered for only 24-hours. Some promos may even run past 24-hours at a lesser discount on the extended sales page. |

This program is a great deal at $33 so at $20, it's an easy choice. Keep in mind this is a CAD program and not a drawing program. It produces highly accurate drawings, but it helps to have had a little CAD experience. The basic tutorial can get you started. For $20, pick it up and throw it in your toolbox!
