RedSox said 1/5 at 12:02am Of course, I just won a copy of this after my negative comment about it. :P |
dfed said 1/5 at 12:40pm ditto on the dead pixel. and ghostlight: when you post, it'll say "you've won!" and then you'll get an email. and when it says "giving away copies" it means they're out. only when it says "giving away 2 copies" or "giving away 1 copy" do you actually have a chance. |
Hark! said 1/5 at 10:18pm WOW! I just read the reviews (click towards top of page) and laughed out loud at the developer's defense of his product! Seriously, read it - it will make you happy!!! |
izdale said 1/5 at 10:59am Just photos? I would want to be able to record a video file from DVD player. I use SnapzPro, which does snapshots and video from anything, not just DVD player. But if you just need to take pictures, this program is the cheaper way to do. |
dangr said 1/5 at 10:37am There are really a bunch of other screenshot programs that can do this, Jing, for example. But still, the more the merrier... |
Britonius said 1/5 at 10:05am You don't need Terminal to get a free screen shot of a DVD. Use VLC Media Player or use MPEGStreamclip, both will allow you to take a picture of the screen and both are absolutely free. The only real benefit that I see from DVD Snap 2 is that is has a 'time controlled mode of action allows capturing of photos between 0.5 and 600 seconds time interval'. If you need multiple photos to choose from, I just scan the video for the shot I want and take it. |
Ghostlight said 1/5 at 7:59am When it says, "Winners are notified immediately", how? Is it by email? Or does a little cartoon unicorn pop up on your desktop with the serial number stuck to its horn? |
iomanoid said 1/5 at 4:36am Any chance we can have a slightly more exciting app for tomorrow's promo...? |

HEY MACUPDATE GUYS! There is a really irritating stray black dot in your "BUY NOW" graphic above. It keeps making me think I have a dead pixel on my monitor until it scrolls away. Please fix it! :) x
